Message from Eivør

It is a cloudy and rainy day here in the Faroe islands. I am in the recording studio with a norwegian band called Vamp. They have chosen to record their upcoming record here on the islands and yesterday they recorded my old song “Elisabet og Elinborg” and I feel very proud to share my song with them. I am also preparing my first little tour in Russia and I am excited to play some concerts there. I am not very good at writing you letters like this one but sometimes I pull myself together and write you a note. I have just finished my new album and I will release it in the late summer :) I will tell you more about it later when the rain has stopped ;) Thank you for your kindness and for listening to my music.

Love Eivør

Eivør will be a part of a concert series with Jón Ólavs that is taking part in Iceland. Her concert is tomorrow night, and it is sold out.

The concert series has been going on since september, where Jón brought on guest singers for each concert. The setting is comfortable and a light mood, where the audience gets in tough with musicians like never before.

Eivor & Ginman – Reviews

Eivør just finished her tour around Denmark with Ginman, and they got great reviews! To read a review from Politiken click here.
This is what Berlingskes had to say:

In other news. Eivør is putting finishing touches on her latest album, which can be expected in the early fall this year.
